Now in Private practice Hilary enjoys using her training in voice to help others find theirs. She uses a whole-person, team approach in which she values the importance of collaborating with a healthcare team. She treats speech, language, and cognitive impairment for those impacted by neurological conditions such as stroke (CVA) Parkinson's, and traumatic brain injury (TBI). She also works with school-aged children and young adults whose speech and language skills are developing, and those who are on the autism spectrum. She works with trans and gender non-conforming individuals to help them find and create the voice that best represents who they are. And through her experience in theater, she assists actors and professional voice users with their voice projection, accent/dialect modification, articulation, and a healthy pattern of vocal use that conveys emotional depth and range. Hilary also treats voice injuries to heal and restore the voice.
A long-time student and practitioner of meditation and former teacher of Hatha yoga, Hilary incorporates mindfulness practices into her healing work. All of her passions combined have equipped her with a broad array of tools to help creatively access, open, and free one's authentic channel of communication with gentleness, patience, and compassion.
